HISAR: The police on Saturday registered an FIR against a person for allegedly raping his 14-year-old neighbour. The accused is yet to be arrested, the police said. He allegedly lured the survivor, a Class X student, to a paying guest accommodation and raped her.In her complaint to the police, the survivor said her parents work as labourers. She claimed that her neighbour, the accused, frequently visited their street and used manipulative tactics to gain her trust following which she started communicating with him from her home phone.

“However, when I attempted to distance myself from him, he threatened to disclose our conversations to my family,” she said.One day, while returning home from school, the accued allegedly confronted the survivor and issued death threats, insisting that she should meet him at the corner of the street the following morning at 7 am.The next day, the girl complied and met him. The accused reportedly took her in a car to a PG in and raped her. Following the incident, she revealed the entire episode to her parents and subsequently reported the matter to the police.
