JAMMU: Twelve tourists from Uttar Pradesh were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a culvert in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district Tuesday.“The tourists were heading to Kashmir in a tempo traveller after paying obeisance to Mata Vaishno Devi at Katra when the vehicle skidded off the road. Soon, CRPF personnel launched rescue operations with the help of locals,” an official said.“Five of the injured were shifted to Ramban District Hospital for advanced treatment, while seven others with minor injuries were admitted to a nearby health facility,” another official added.
