NEW DELHI: Gangsters Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritolia, linked to the Himanshu Bhau gang, claimed responsibility for firing outside YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav’s residence in Gurgaon on Sunday. In a social media post, the gang alleged that Yadav had promoted a betting app “that has destroyed many households.”

Family inside, no injuries reported

Police confirmed there were no injuries.Elvish was not at home during the attack. His father, Ram Avtar Yadav, said the family was present in the house when the shots were fired. “In the CCTV footage, three miscreants can be seen, out of which two are clearly visible. The police administration is doing its job well,” he added.

Police cordon off area

The firing was carried out on the first floor of the building, while Elvish family stays on the third floor.Police teams cordoned off the area shortly after the incident and are examining CCTV footage. Senior Gurgaon police officials said an investigation is ongoing to trace the suspects.
