A suspected drone was sighted on Thursday in the border area of Jammu district, reports news agency PTI.The incident triggered a search operation by security agencies, officials said.Residents in the Gajansoo border area reported the sighting, following which police and other security forces launched a search in the region.A senior officer said it was not yet clear whether the drone had originated from within Indian territory or across the border. The matter is under investigation.The International Border in Jammu district is guarded by the Border Security Force. Authorities remain on high alert as drone movements along the border continue to raise security concerns.
