Gurgaon horror: Invited by friend for party, teacher gang-raped by 4 men; all arrested

GURGAON: A foreign languages teacher at a frontline school in the city has accused four men, all of them gym trainers, of sexually assaulting her.The 29-year-old teacher, who lives in the city with her husband, met one of the suspects, Gaurav, at a party in Sept, following which they exchanged numbers. The two met several times after that and were in touch, police sources said.On Oct 1, Gaurav called the teacher and asked her if she could meet him. Since she was out already, she agreed. Gaurav gave her his friend Neeraj’s address. The teacher reached late night, following which Gaurav allegedly sexually assaulted her. After that, he called his Neeraj and two other friends, who also allegedly raped her.

The teacher lodged a police complaint the next morning. The women east police station made the arrests. The suspects were identified as Gaurav (37) of Himachal Pradesh, Yogesh (29) and Abhishek (28) from Mahendergarh, and Neeraj (32) of Prayagraj, UP.Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said, “The investigation in the case is on. We have arrested all the accused.”The four were produced before a local court, which sent them to judicial custody. FIR against them was filed under sections 64(1) (rape), 70(1) (gang rape), and 3(5) (crime done by multiple persons) of BNS.
