Former South African cricket star Ab de Villiers has predicted that Indian opener Abhishek Sharma will thrive in the upcoming five-match T20I series in Australia, following his outstanding performance in the Asia Cup 2025. Sharma amassed 314 runs in seven matches during the Asia Cup, maintaining a strike rate of 200 and an average of 44.86, establishing himself as a formidable force in T20 cricket.Sharma’s aggressive batting style and ability to dominate bowlers from the start has given India significant advantages in recent matches.
