Vivek Ramaswamy speaks on 'American Dream', says he understands why Gen Z is skeptical
Vivek Ramaswamy will speak today at Montana as part of Charlie Kirk’s unfinished tour.

Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy, who is running for the Ohio Governor election, addressed the American Dream, job market, free speech situation in the country in an X post ahead of his speech today in Montana, which is part of Charlie Kirk’s unfinished tour by Turning Point. “I can understand why Gen Z is skeptical of the American Dream: the job market feels impenetrable, home ownership feels out of reach, & free speech feels like an illusion when those you admire are assassinated for speaking peacefully. But don’t be cynical about our country, because there’s nowhere else to escape. Build more homes to reduce the cost of housing; produce more energy to reduce the cost of electricity; spend less government $$ to reduce the cost of everything. There’s a better way ahead, we’ll talk about it tonight at Montana State as we round out Charlie’s planned campus tour,” Ramaswamy posted teasing about his speech today.

Fork in the road

According to his prepared remarks, Ramaswamy will say the conservative moment is at a “fork in the road” and urge them to abandon its fixation on “owning the libs” in favor of a less overtly confrontational posture. “We can still stand for truth, while viewing those who believe in falsehoods not as our enemies who must be vanquished, but instead as our fellow citizens who have lost their way and must be shown the light,” Ramaswamy will say. “Not to berate them, embarrass them, and banish them — but to pray for them, to talk to them, and to persuade them,” he will add.
