Car stunt goes wrong: Noida man fined Rs 57,500 after viral video shows him driving recklessly on busy road

NEW DELHI: A man in Greater Noida has been fined Rs 57, 500 after a video showing him performing a dangerous car stunt on a public road went viral on social media. The footage, which features a Maruti Suzuki Baleno speeding and drifting at high speed, was widely shared online over the weekend. The clip begins with the car racing down a main road while another vehicle films from behind. The driver then swerves sharply, drifting across the road before coming to an abrupt stop. In a later part of the video, the same car repeats the stunt in front of a residential complex.What begins as a show of reckless driving ends with a shot of a traffic challan issued by Noida Police, showing a fine of Rs 57,500 for “reckless and dangerous driving.” The video was originally shared on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: “A boy performed car stunts on the roads of Greater Noida. Noida Traffic Police took action and imposed a fine of ₹57,500. Good work, Noida traffic police.”
