Sadie Robertson Huff from the show “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” says she faced cancel culture after people got angry over a TikTok dance video. She said this in an interview with Fox News Digital. Sadie said she and her sister joined a 2024 TikTok line dance trend using Beyoncé’s song “Texas Hold ’Em,” but many people were upset with her choice of song. She said she did not even notice the song’s meaning at first, but the backlash came fast, mostly from people in the church community.

Sadie Robertson Huff explains why the backlash hurt her the most

Sadie Robertson Huff said what hurt her was that the hate came from people she thought would support her. She said, “It was a lot from the church,” and she felt it caused more division than love. She deleted the video but did not stay silent. She told Fox News Digital that instead of hiding, she wanted to talk about the issue and bring a bigger conversation about faith, grace and forgiveness. Sadie Robertson said cancel culture often makes people disappear in fear, but she wanted to do the opposite. She reminded Christians that they should help each other, not celebrate when someone makes a mistake. She also pointed to the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13, saying love should not enjoy hate but stand with truth.
