A video of a woman violently smashing the window of an air-conditioned coach on the Indore-Delhi train has gone viral on social media. The incident occurred on Wednesday after the woman’s purse was allegedly stolen during the journey. The clip shows the woman sitting with a small child beside her, using a tray to repeatedly strike the window until the glass shatters, covering the seat and floor with shards.According to reports, the woman first approached the Railway Protection Force (RPF) for help in locating her stolen purse but claimed her complaint was ignored. Frustrated with the lack of action, she returned to her seat and began breaking the glass. In the video, she is heard shouting, “Mera purse chahiye… baat khatam,” as railway employees and other passengers try to stop her. The woman continued her actions despite the broken glass causing her injuries, while the young child remained seated next to her.The viral clip has drawn mixed reactions online. While some users argue that her frustration was justified after being ignored by authorities, others have condemned the act, stating that damaging public property is not the solution. Many also expressed concern for the safety of the child who was present during the incident.Railway authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident or the allegations against the RPF.
