NEW DELHI: Tej Pratap Yadav roasted Rahul Gandhi’s fishing act, suggesting that he should have opted for an alternate career option like “rasoiya” (cook), rather than being a politician. Ahead of the two-phase Assembly elections starting November 6, the Congress leader waded into a pond and joined in the age-old practice of catching fish by hand and with nets.In the 2020 assembly polls, Congress recorded the poorest strike rate among opposition parties, even as Tejashwi Yadav’s dynamic campaign helped the RJD become the single largest party. Despite contesting 70 seats, the highest after the RJD’s 144, Congress managed to secure only 19 wins.
