UGC NET December 2025: Registration to close on November 7; NTA issues important advisory

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important advisory for candidates who have not yet completed their registration process for the University Grants Commission – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2025 examination. The registration portal will close on November 7, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM).

NTA’s advisory for pending applicants

As per the official notice, candidates who have not yet finished the application process are advised to:

  • Fill and submit the online application form,
  • Pay the prescribed examination fee, and
  • Download and retain the confirmation page for future reference.

NTA has reiterated that only candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee will be considered as having completed the application process.
