Rajasthan shocker: Cop shoots self with service rifle in jail; chilling social media post emerges
A 37-year-old Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) constable, Ramkishor, died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound with his service rifle at a Bhilwara district jail watchtower

BHILWARA: A 37-year-old constable of the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) Battalion shot himself dead with his service rifle at the watch tower of Bhilwara district jail late Saturday night, police said. The constable, identifed as Ramkishor, a resident of Harmada village near Kishangarh in Ajmer district, was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation. An FSL team collected evidence from the scene.Meanwhile, the family of the deceased constable denied that he died by suicide. Bhilwara SP Dharmendra Singh said, “We have registered a case and started an investigation, preliminarily it appears to be a suicide case but still investigation is being conducted keeping all points in mind.”Ramkishor’s brother Nanuram lodged a report of suspicious death Sunday at Kotwali police station in Bhilwara city. After the post-mortem Sunday, the body was handed over to the family. Nanuram said, “My brother has two daughters, one eight-year-old Rishika and one four-year-old Komal. Ramkishor had posted on his Facebook ID three hours before the incident in which he had written that whenever there is an opportunity in life, one should enjoy it fully because it is not known which night will be the last night?”
