Youth who filmed high-speed bike reels dies in crash

SURAT: An 18-year-old youth died in a road accident near Breadliner Circle in the Khatodara police station area on Monday morning. The victim, identified as Prince Patel, was riding a KTM sports bike at high speed when he lost control of the vehicle. Patel, who was coming from the VNSGU side and descending the flyover towards Breadliner Circle, hit the road divider after losing control, resulting in his death on the spot. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.The impact of the collision was severe and caused fatal head injuries, police said.According to investigators, Patel was fond of creating bike-riding reels and had previously uploaded a video showing his bike clocking 140 kmph. He had even named his motorcycle ‘Laila’ and frequently featured it in his social media posts.Khatodara police have registered a fatal accident FIR and begun an investigation.
