Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann holds roadshow in Osaka to attract Japanese investment

A business roadshow in Osaka on Friday, the fourth day of Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann’s Japan visit, saw active participation from industry representatives across sectors.Addressing the gathering, the chief minister said the presence of major industrial companies showed strong support for deepening India–Japan economic ties.Mann told investors that the focus is on creating opportunities for young people and ensuring a predictable environment for businesses.He pointed to Punjab’s strategic location, connectivity with major ports, strong industrial clusters, steady power supply, skilled workforce and a supportive policy environment, saying these factors have helped the state become a preferred investment destination.He also held a series of high-level meetings in Osaka, including discussions with the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) on opportunities in trade, technology and SME collaboration.Mann is on a 10-day visit to Japan and South Korea to seek investments. His stops include Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul.
