The victim’s mother owns a buffalo and she often had disagreements with her sister-in-law over cow dung lying near the house. The argument intensified on Friday, following which the DU student stepped in. His aunt allegedly called her husband, son and a minor to the spot. During the scuffle that followed, the youth was stabbed. Police said they were searching for two more people. The victim’s sister said her mother was speaking to a neighbour about waste near the house when the aunt allegedly began abusing her. She added that her brother first took their mother inside but was attacked when he stepped out again. “One person held my brother from behind and another stabbed him,” she claimed.
