Saturday Night Live (SNL) stepped into the Jeffrey Epstein row after disturbing photos and videos from his private “pedo” island surfaced last week. The latest episode used dark comedy on the Weekend Update, where the host Colin Jost made a joke about how young some of Epstein’s victims were said to be.The House Oversight Committee recently released extensive footage from inside Epstein’s Virgin Islands property. The material includes a thorough tour of the estate, showing the mansion, bedroom and bathroom. Among the eerie images, there was a large room resembling a dentist’s surgery, complete with a dental chair and walls lined with creepy old-man masks. The image went viral with social media speculating all kinds of dark theories.Using this as a launchpad, SNL’s Jost opened the segment by referring to the newly published footage of Epstein’s mansion and said: “Honestly, it’s not as nice as I remember.” He then turned to the viral dental chair photograph, telling viewers it “seems very weird, but keep in mind a lot of his girlfriends still had braces.”The audience reacted with a loud groan, Jost fired back with another joke, “Oh, so you think the victims should have crooked teeth?” Michael Che looked at him in disbelief and uttered a surprised “What?” while trying not to laugh.
