Prabhas’s most awaited horror comedy ‘The Raja Saab’ has started its box office journey on a very strong note.According to early estimates by the Sacnilk website the film earned around Rs 45.00 crore India net on Day 1 across all languages. ‘The Raja Saab’ did very well in Telugu states on its first day. Telugu occupancy stood at a strong 57.16 percent overall. Morning shows started at 50.92 percent, afternoon shows were at 50.82 percent, evening shows rose to 57.70 percent, and night shows peaked at 69.20 percent. Hindi collections were more modest, with an overall occupancy of 15.63 percent. Morning shows were low at 7.47 percent but improved gradually by night shows at 21.34 percent. Tamil occupancy was decent, with an overall 22.61 percent, and night shows reaching close to 28 percent.

The film clearly saw better footfall as the day progressed. Evening and night shows performed much better than morning shows, especially in Telugu regions. Dolby Cinema Telugu shows also recorded an overall 24.93 percent occupancy. ‘The Raja Saab’ is directed by Maruthi and stars Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Boman Irani, Riddhi Kumar, and Zarina Wahab in key roles.ETimes review for the film reads, “Prabhas appears comfortable in the role embracing a lighter flamboyant persona with relaxed confidence. That said, the film’s frequent pauses to spotlight star moments occasionally come at the cost of narrative momentum, making certain portions feel drawn out rather than impactful.” Overall the movie is getting mixed reviews.
