Declare 2 Nirav aides proclaimed offenders: CBI

MUMBAI: CBI moved the special court Monday with a plea to declare two key aides of fugitive businessman Nirav Modi proclaimed offenders in a fraud case related to Punjab National Bank. The court adjourned the matter for arguments. The application sought a proclamation under Section 84 (proclamation for person absconding) of BNSS against Sandeep Mistry, director of one of Nirav Modi’s companies in Hong Kong, and Mihir Bhansali, associated with Nirav’s business activities. Both have been missing from the proceedings for a protracted period.
