Silver lining: Asind artisan mints Aadhaar for Sanwaliya Seth

By: Somdutt TripathiBHILWARA: In a blend of devotion and craftsmanship, gold artisan Dhanraj Soni, son of Debilal Soni and a resident of Asind in Bhilwara district, has created a special Aadhaar Card made of silver for Sanwaliya Seth of Mewar.Made of pure silver, the card features intricate engraving designed to resemble a real Aadhaar, and carries an image of the Ashoka Pillar along with that of Sanwaliya Seth.The card lists Sanwaliya Seth’s name, gender as male, and date of birth as Bhadrapad Krishna Ashtami 3112 BC (Shri Krishna Janmashtami). At the bottom, it bears the message: “Mere Sarkar Meri Pehchan” (My Lord, My Identity).The silver Aadhaar Card was prepared by Dhanraj Soni on demand from customers in the area.Soni said customers from the Asind area demanded an Aadhaar Card for Lord Sanwaliya Seth, after which he prepared it in 2 days using 60 grams of pure silver. He said there was considerable demand for such Aadhaar cards.
