Budget 2026: Over 100 press meets, reels & more — BJP rolls out nationwide 'Outreach Campaign'

The BJP launched a nationwide campaign to explain the Union Budget 2026 to the public, with press conferences reportedly planned at 150 locations featuring ministers and party leaders from February 1-15. The party will combine traditional outreach with digital campaigns.A special team led by National General Secretary Tarun Chugh will oversee the ‘Budget Outreach Campaign 2026′, as reported by ANI. The team includes prominent leaders like Saroj Pandey, Shrikant Sharma, and others who will coordinate the extensive communication strategy.

The party plans to use social media heavily to reach younger audiences. They will create short video reels and digital content to explain budget highlights. All BJP ministers, state chief ministers, and senior leaders will speak to the media across the country.However, the campaign faces opposition in Tamil Nadu. MDMK leader Vaiko has strongly criticized the upcoming budget. He claims the BJP government will continue to discriminate against Tamil Nadu while making empty promises.“The Union government would once again discriminate against Tamil Nadu in the upcoming Union Budget. The BJP would try to deceive the people by praising Tamil Nadu, Bharathiar, and Sangam literature in Hindi. Prime Minister Modi’s daydream of fooling Tamil Nadu will never succeed,” Vaiko told reporters on Thursday.Vaiko also accused the central government of trying to force Hindi and Sanskrit on the state. He warned that Tamil Nadu would strongly resist such attempts, even if it meant “sacrificing lives.” He cautioned that pushing this agenda would have “serious consequences.
