'Border 2' box office collection Day 9: Sunny Deol starrer sees good growth on second Saturday; crosses Rs 250 crore

There appears to be no stopping Sunny Deol’s war film ‘Border 2’ at the box office. The film, which has been raking in big bucks since its theatrical release on January 23, has crossed the Rs 250 crore mark in under 10 days.

According to box office tracking portal Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 17.75 crore on its second Saturday, as per early estimates. With this, the film witnessed strong growth at the ticket windows after seeing a significant drop on Friday, when it earned around Rs 10.75 crore.

‘Border 2’ crosses Rs 250 crore mark

The film’s second weekend collections, however, are lower than its opening weekend figures. After registering an estimated total of Rs 224.25 crore in its first week and adding approximately Rs 28.5 crore in its second week so far, ‘Border 2’ has amassed an estimated total net collection of Rs 252.75 crore.

‘Border 2’ worldwide collections

‘Border 2’, which is the highest-grossing film of 2026 so far, has also crossed the Rs 300 crore mark in terms of gross collections. As per reports, the film has earned an estimated Rs 302.25 crore in total gross collections within 10 days of its release.The film has also performed well in overseas markets, earning an estimated Rs 41.75 crore. This has pushed its worldwide box office total to approximately Rs 344 crore.

‘Border 2’ vs ‘Mardaani 3’

Despite its dominant run at the box office, the film faced fresh competition with the release of Rani Mukerji’s ‘Mardaani 3’. The cop-action thriller opened on a strong note, earning an estimated Rs 10 crore in net collections within its first two days.
