Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan, is currently under care at Lilavati Hospital. The family has been making regular trips to see him, and this morning, Sohail Khan was seen arriving at the hospital to get an update on his father’s health.

Early today, paparazzi shared a new video of Sohail Khan walking out of the hospital and settling into his car, with security personnel nearby.

Earlier reports stated Salim Khan entered the hospital on February 17 and remains on ventilator support. During a Wednesday press interaction, Dr. Jalil Parkar revealed the veteran writer experienced a minor brain hemorrhage; recovery is progressing gradually due to his advanced age.

The doctor said, “He was having jerks and his blood pressure was high. We treated him. We had to put him on a ventilator so that his condition would not worsen. It wasn’t because he was critical. We did the required investigations and a small procedure, details of which I will not disclose. He is fine and stable. He has been shifted to the ICU and is doing quite well. Age is a factor, so the recovery process will take time.”

Meanwhile, it’s rumored that Salman Khan and his whole family aren’t happy with Lilavati Hospital doctors giving private info to the press. They’ve strictly told them not to do it again without family okay first. A source close to the Khan family told Variety India, “Health is a private matter. Ideally, no updates should be shared with the media, and any communication should be left entirely to the family, if and when they choose to address fans and well-wishers. Salman and his family were displeased with the doctor’s public statement and have clearly conveyed to the authorities that they do not want any further details disclosed”.

On Friday, Ranveer Singh made a visit to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital afternoon for an update on Salim Khan’s health. A number of actors and Salman’s good friends—Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Javed Akhtar among them—had already dropped by earlier. Thursday evening saw Aamir Khan there too, accompanied by his girlfriend Gauri.
