Lovebir Singh, Arshdeep Singh: Canada deports two Indians over involvement in extortion, arson, shooting

Two Indians have been deported by the Canadian authorities for their involvement in a range of illegal activities in the country involving extortion, threatening the public, arson, shoplifting etc. It’s not known whether they are related or are known to each other or worked for the same gang, but both of them came to Canada almost around the same time, one year apart. And their cases were dealt with by different police departments.

Surrey Police in Canada’s British Columbia announced that they have deported an extortion suspect and are now investigating deeper into the crime plaguing several pockets of the country. Came to Canada in 2023

Lovebir Singh, 22, came to Canada in 2023, according to a statement issued by the Surrey Police Service. He was identified by local authorities earlier this year as someone “suspected as being involved in extortion-related criminal activity,” police said. The Canada Border Services Agency was informed and ordered Singh removed after conducting an immigration investigation.“Surrey Police Service is releasing a photo of a male who has been removed from Canada in the hopes of appealing to the public for information on his associates and activities while he was in Canada,” the statement said. “SPS hopes that the public release of this image of Lovebir Singh prompts additional witnesses, victims, or associates to come forward with relevant information regarding the activities of Lovebir Singh. Any information provided by the public or associates can assist police in gathering information on the people and potential criminal networks involved in violent extortions.”
