BHOPAL: A speeding car allegedly climbed onto a road divider on Ginnori Road in the Talaiya area and flung into the air and overturned on the road. The incident occurred on Feb 19, and its CCTV footage surfaced on Saturday, quickly going viral on social media.Fortunately, despite the severe impact, none of the occupants of the car sustained serious injuries. No other commuters on the road were injured.According to eyewitnesses, the divider that the car collided with had neither reflectors nor warning signboards installed. At night, the divider blended with the colour of the road, making it difficult for drivers approaching from a distance to notice it. As soon as the car hit the divider, it overturned ahead. Local residents rushed to the spot and extended immediate assistance. Area corporator Samar Huzur shared the video on social media and demanded immediate action from the authorities. He urged the administration to install reflectors and warning boards on the concerned divider to prevent any major mishap in the future. Talaiya SHO Deepak Dehariya said that no one was seriously injured in the accident.
