Anthropic’s Claude is currently experiencing a global outage, with users reporting error rates across the web, mobile apps and API services. The AI company has confirmed the problem, saying that it is working to fix it. The incident began on March 2, and appears to be a widespread service disruption rather than a localized issue. As per Downdetector, the website that watches disruptions globally, shows an increased number of reports about Claude being inaccessible.According to the official Anthropic status page, the engineering team is currently in “active investigation” mode. At 11:49 UTC, the first “Investigating” notice was issued after a spike in error reports. A follow-up update confirmed that the company has “identified that the Claude API is working as intended. The issues we are seeing are related to Claude.ai and with the login/logout paths.”
