CHANDIGARH: Haryana State Commission for Women on Saturday directed police to arrest rapper Badshah alias Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia in cases registered against him at three places over his controversial song ‘Tateeree’. One of the three is a criminal case. HSCW chairperson Renu Bhatia issued directions to Panchkula DC and Panipat SP, where the cases are registered, for “execution of orders as soon as possible”. She also directed police and authorities to seize Badshah’s passport and ban his programmes across the state. “Despite our reminder, he did not turn up for the hearing and instead released another video message. We gave him an opportunity till 3pm, as his lawyers pleaded that he could not come for the hearing due to professional commitments. This was not acceptable, hence, we issued the directions,” said Bhatia. t
