FIR as Pune iftar party attacked

PUNE: A group of around 150 people allegedly beat up 14 men who had assembled close to a lake in Pune’s Askarwadi near Bopdev Ghat, for Ramzan Iftar around 7pm on Friday. Police are on the lookout for all the accused. In the FIR lodged on Saturday, complainant Feroz Sayyed (36) said he and his friends were targeted when they got together to break their fast. Inspector Kumar Kadam said, “We have so far identified three of the assailants. We will soon identify the rest and arrest them.”
