In 2024, hip-hop commentator DJ Akademiks claimed Cardi B exchanged flirtatious messages with Stefon Diggs while she was eight months pregnant with her third child, Blossom, whom she welcomed with Offset that September. According to Akademiks, while the two never had a physical relationship at that time, Offset reportedly caught Cardi texting the NFL star, and the situation was labeled as “cheating.”These rumors surfaced shortly before Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Offset himself had faced allegations of infidelity during their marriage, which further complicated the narrative of betrayal. While neither Cardi nor Stefon publicly confirmed Akademiks’ claims, the story stuck, painting their connection as scandalous from the beginning.

Cardi B opens up about love, remarriage, and pregnancy

Fast forward to 2025, and Cardi is entering a new era. On September 16, she revealed on Today with Jenna & Friends that she still believes in love despite her divorce. “Yeah. I would get married again,” she admitted. “I believe in love. I’m a hopeless romantic.” Just a day later, she announced her pregnancy, making headlines once more.Cardi shared her joy on CBS Mornings, saying, “I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful, that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. He (Stefon) just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong.”

Meanwhile, Offset has also addressed the end of their marriage.
