Coldrif row: Were the killer cough syrups exported, asks WHO

NEW DELHI: The World Health Organization (WHO) has asked India’s central drug regulatory authority, CDSCO, if the cough syrups allegedly responsible for the deaths had been exported. “Based on the response, WHO may decide on whether to issue a medical product alert or not,” said a source.
