NEW DELHI: A gold-plated urn valued at Rs 30 lakh was stolen from the spire of a Jain temple in North East Delhi’s Jyoti Nagar.The theft came to light on Saturday morning when the temple was reopened after being closed on Friday evening, as per routine. CCTV footage reviewed by the temple authorities shows that around 11.45 PM on Friday, an unidentified man arrived outside the premises and sat near the entrance for nearly three minutes. He then climbed onto the temple roof using electric wires and made his way to the spire, from where he removed the urn and escaped.
