South Africa’s Dewald Brevis lit up the third and final T20I against Australia in Cairns on Saturday with an audacious display of hitting, highlighted by three no-look sixes in a row that left fans stunned. The 22-year-old walked in at No. 4 after the dismissal of Lhuan-dre Pretorius and immediately stamped his authority on the game. Brevis launched into Aaron Hardie in the 10th over, producing a remarkable three sixes that brought the crowd to its feet. On the third ball of the over, he dispatched a short delivery over deep midwicket. He followed it up with another on the very next ball. Brevis got under the delivery and smoked it over long-on. The hat-trick came off the fifth delivery, as Hardie overpitched again and Brevis fired it over long-off. The breathtaking hitting sent the crowd into a frenzy. One fan even leapt the fence in an attempt to collect the ball, as cheers rang through the stadium. Brevis eventually fell in the 12th over for 53 off 26 balls, a knock laced with six sixes and a four. His dismissal came courtesy of a sharp catch from Glenn Maxwell at long-on.
