NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday dropped the ‘H-bomb’, alleging a large-scale voter fraud during the Haryana elections. The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha alleged that 1 in 8 voters in Haryana are fake, pointing to unexplained differences between postal and booth votes.The presser was held at Congress headquarters in Delhi just a day before the first Phase of the Bihar polls. Rahul said that his team has proof that around 25 lakh voters in Haryana are either duplicate, nonexistent, or manipulated. During the presser, Gandhi displayed a picture of a woman, which raised the curiosity of people, making them wonder who she was.Rahul Gandhi displayed a picture of a voter list in which the picture of the woman appeared several times with different names and details.While displaying the picture, Rahul asked the journalists and other people gathered there for the presser, “Who is this lady? What is her name? Where does she come from?”This question left everyone wondering and looking for answers. He added, “She votes 22 times in Haryana, at 10 different booths, and has multiple names: Seema, Sweety, Saraswati, Rashmi, Vilma.”Rahul claimed that the woman is not an Indian, but a “Brazilian model.” “That’s a stock photograph and she is one of 25 lakh such records in Haryana,” he added.Congress also shared the picture of the woman on social media platform X, saying, “A Brazilian citizen Matheus Ferroro voted in 22 names in Haryana under the names ranging from Sweety to Saraswathi.”
