NEW DELHI: A central agency on Tuesday raided the Al-Falah University in Faridabad, intensifying its probe into the Delhi blast case. This comes a day after the brother of the Al-Falah University chancellor was arrested from Hyderabad in connection with 25-year-old fraud cases.Al Falah University has come under scrutiny after the arrest of several doctors in connection with the November 10 high-intensity blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which killed 13 people and injured many others. The prime accused, Dr Umar Un Nabi, was a former student of the university. In response, the institution issued a statement condemning the attack and affirming its commitment as a responsible educational body aligned with national interests. As part of the investigation, Delhi Police have issued two summons to the university’s chancellor, citing the need to resolve inconsistencies in the institution’s functioning and clarify the roles of certain individuals linked to it. Investigators are probing possible connections between the university and multiple suspects associated with the blast, including examining institutional records, financial transactions, and administrative decisions as part of a broader inquiry into the alleged Faridabad terror module.
