The Esports Awards 2025 returned to Las Vegas on November 19, marking a milestone 10-year celebration of competitive gaming, content creation, and influencer excellence. Hosted at the HyperX Arena, the event recognized achievements across 24 categories, highlighting players, teams, and creators who have shaped the esports landscape over the past year. This year, the spotlight shone brightly on Darren “IShowSpeed,” who clinched the coveted Streamer of the Year title. The 20-year-old YouTube sensation has steadily grown his online presence with high-energy streams, engaging content, and a loyal global following. Despite stiff competition from 11 other nominees, including xQc, Ibai Llanos, and Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed’s community-driven approach and consistent content output helped him secure the award.

I want to give a huge thanks to everybody who voted me. I want to give a huge thanks to my fans. I want to give a huge thanks to anybody who supported me, and I love y’all. And also, y’all know how much I work hard for y’all every single year, to give y’all the best content, the best streams! So, I appreciate y’all enjoying that content and supporting that content, and I love y’all. And I’m going to keep working harder, and I appreciate y’all. It’s Speed Gang for life! And I love y’all. I love y’all so much!”This win marks a significant moment for IShowSpeed, who was nominated last year but lost to Mexican Twitch streamer Samanta “Rivers” Rivera Treviño.
