TikToker says Elon Musk is about to die, Tesla CEO responds

A Somali-American TikToker is facing backlash for allegedly threatening Elon Musk. During a TikTok livestream, the woman mocked Musk for his fraud allegations against Somali-run daycares in Minnesota. In a clip, now viral on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), she can be seen speaking primarily in the native language before dismissively stating “I wouldn’t worry too much about him. He about to die.” Responding to the clip shared by X user DogeDesigner, the tech billionaire wrote “Then it is war”. Interestingly, Musk has pinned the post on this Twitter timeline which, at the time of writing, has garnered more than 8 million views.In another post, Musk replied to the video sarcastically writing “Wonderful people”.

In a series of posts on X recently, Musk called for the arrest of Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz amid reports of rampant fraud in the state. Responding to one such post stating that a formal criminal complaint has been filed against Walz, the tech CEO wrote “Off to prison for Traitor Tim”.Musk’s comments come after the Trump administration launched a probe into Minnesota’s “Feeding Our Future” $250 million fraud scheme that allegedly targeted a children’s nutrition program the Department of Agriculture funded and that Minnesota oversaw during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to reports, more than 70 people have been charged in the scheme, allegedly taking advantage of the US Department of Agriculture’s decision to waive certain Federal Child Nutrition Program requirements.

Amid the alleged fraud reports, the US Department of Health and Human Services announced that it would be freezing childcare payments to Minnesota.“We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at https://childcare.gov,” Deputy Secretary Jim O’Neill wrote on X. “Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you.”
