After an extraordinary five-week run at the Indian box office, ‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, has recorded its first significant slowdown in collections. ‘Dhurandhar’ box office collection Day 32

As per early estimates reported by Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned around Rs 4.50 crore India net on Day 32, marking the film’s lowest single-day collection since its release. The drop comes after the film wrapped up a record-breaking fifth weekend. The first faced its first major drop in numbers on its fifth Friday, with collections falling to Rs 8.75 crore. However, the film managed to pick up the pace over the weekend and score an estimated Rs 11.75 crore and Rs 12.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

‘Dhurandhar’ scores highest week 5 collections

Despite the slip, the film emerged as the highest-grossing film of the weekend and even broke the record for the highest fifth week collections, breaking the ‘Chhaava’ week 5 record (Rs 30 crore) in just 3 days. With Monday’s collections, the film’s week 5 total has been pushed to an estimated Rs 37.75 crore. At this pace, the film will likely end its fifth week at the box office, under the Rs 100 crore mark, a first since its December 5 release.

‘Dhurandhar’ total collections

Meanwhile, the film’s total net collections have now risen to an estimated Rs 776.75 crore. The film’s gross collections, on the other hand, have surpassed the Rs 900 crore mark, to hit an impressive Rs 932 crore. With the Rs 280 crore haul from overseas markets, the film’s worldwide total now stands at an estimated Rs 1212 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ vs ‘Ikkis’

While ‘Dhurandhar’ did see a drop in collections, it still came out on top as Monday’s highest earning film. The spy thriller beat out the war drama ‘Ikkis’ starring Agastya Nanda, which earned an estimated Rs 1.35 crore on Monday. The film that is in its first week, has scored a net five day total of Rs 21 crore.
