Stock market today: Which stocks are the biggest gainers and losers on NSE, BSE today? Check list

Indian equities traded in green on Friday, as NSE Nifty50 soared over 25,800 and BSE Sensex gained over 700 points. However the indices later trimmed their gains, with Sensex trading at 83,712, up 329 points or 0.4% while Nifty50 gained 25,743, higher 78 points or 0.31% as on 12:30 pm.Ajay Bagga, Market expert told ANI that investors are largely adopting a cautious stance at present. He said, “There are not very high expectations from the Union Budget 2026 so far has been like 2025, with IPOs seeing a “lottery investment for listing gains” mentality while FPI selling in the secondary markets stays elevated. Indian markets will benefit from a sentiment boost following the top Indian bureaucrat in the Commerce Ministry holding out hopes for an India EU trade deal to be signed by 26th January and saying that an India US trade deal is progressing well. The wait is for a positive news on the trade deal front. An EU deal will be a morale booster as the EU represents a huge potential market for Indian goods.”Here are the top ten gainers and losers on NSE and BSE as on 12:30 pm.

Market participants are also eyeing a string of Q3 earnings announcements today from major companies including Reliance Industries, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Polycab India, L&T Finance, Federal Bank, JSW Infrastructure, Poonawalla Fincorp, Central Bank of India, JB Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, and Tata Technologies.Meanwhile, global markets saw a mixed start as easing Iran-related tensions and strong earnings from TSMC lifted US stocks, with gains concentrated in AI, semiconductor, and financial sectors, led by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
