GHAZIABAD: Two men were stabbed to death and another critically injured after a dispute over a delay in serving food at an eatery in Ghaziabad late Friday night. Police said four suspects have been detained for questioning.According to officials, two groups of customers, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, got into a heated argument over the delay, which soon escalated into a violent clash. During the altercation, members of both groups allegedly attacked each other with sharp-edged weapons.Locals alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and shifted the three injured youths to a nearby hospital. Doctors declared two of them dead on arrival.The deceased were identified as Shreepal (25) and Satyam (26), natives of Bahraich district who were living in a rented accommodation in Khoda’s Nehru Vihar Colony, said DCP Nimish Patil. The third injured person has not yet been identified due to the severity of his injuries and his inebriated condition.Ghaziabad DCP Nimish Patel said, “Around 10 pm, Khoda police station received information via Dial 112 about a scuffle. When the police reached the spot, they found that three people had been injured and sent them for medical treatment. Two of them later died during treatment, while the third injured person is out of danger. The families of the deceased have been informed.”During the investigation, police identified several people involved in the attack. “All the accused involved in the killing will be nabbed soon,” the officer said.
