Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Monday denied any links with Jeffrey Epstein, saying he never visited the financier’s “creepy island”, travelled on his “Lolita Express” plane, or attended his parties. The clarification came after Musk’s name appeared in the latest batch of documents linked to the Epstein case.Musk issued the clarification on his social media platform X, where he said he had long pushed for the full release of the Epstein files and prosecution of those who abused children. He claimed this stance had made him a target of attacks by what he called “legacy media” and “far-left propagandists”.In his post, Musk said he was prepared to face personal attacks for supporting the release of the files, adding that protecting vulnerable children was more important than his own reputation.“I knew that I would be smeared relentlessly, despite never having attended his parties or been on his “Lolita Express” plane or set foot on his creepy island or done anything wrong at all,” Musk wrote, stressing that he would accept further criticism if it helped bring justice to victims. The clarification followed the US department of justice’s release of the largest set of Epstein-related files so far on Friday. The new tranche includes around three million additional pages of documents, along with thousands of videos and images. The documents provide more details about Epstein’s contacts with several high-profile individuals, including Musk, Bill Gates and US commerce secretary Howard Lutnick. Officials have said the files also contain many unverified tips submitted to law enforcement.
