According to the NDTV report, Harry Boxer, who is an operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, made the demand of Rs 10 crore from Ranveer Singh. The report stated that the note was sent from a US phone number to the actor’s manager.

As per the report, the Crime Branch of the Mumbai Police got in touch with the US authorities to get more details about the number during the investigation. Reportedly, Boxer sent the voice note threatening the actor after the firing incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty‘s house in Mumbai.

According to the IANS report, officials are still working on additional evidence in connection with the case. In the note, money was demanded while issuing threats. As soon as the actor approached the cops, his security was heightened. Reportedly, the statement of Ranveer’s manager was recorded by the Crime Branch a few days ago.
