The embassy has also asked the Indian community to closely follow guidelines issued by Qatar’s Ministry of Interior Qatar.To assist Indian citizens affected by the situation, the embassy has activated 24×7 emergency helplines and email support services. These channels are designed to help residents and travellers access assistance quickly during emergencies.In addition, authorities have introduced a special registration system for stranded transit passengers, allowing some travellers to apply for a temporary Saudi transit visa so they can exit Qatar through the Salwa Border Crossing. However, processing requests may take at least 48 hours, and travellers must arrange their own transport to the border.
