DEHRADUN: A young couple, both first-year MCA students at a private university, sustained injuries after allegedly stabbing each other over accusations of infidelity in Clement Town area of Dehradun, police said on Saturday.SP Pramod Kumar said that the police control room received information about the incident early Saturday. “The pair had been in a relationship for over three years. A team reached their rented accommodation and found them lying injured with stab wounds. They were taken to a nearby hospital where they are out of danger,” he said.

Kumar added that a preliminary investigation revealed the altercation began when the man confronted the woman over allegations that she was involved with another man. “The argument escalated, leading both individuals to attack each other with kitchen knives before police intervened. An investigation is ongoing,” he added.
