Bengal min hurt as BJP workers clash with TMC cadres

KOLKATA: Bengal minister Shashi Panja was injured Saturday when a clash broke out near her home in Girish Park between workers of Trinamool and BJP supporters who were on their way to attend PM Modi‘s rally here. At least eight cops and several Trinamool and BJP supporters were injured in the violence. Bowbazar police station officer in charge Bappaditya Naskar, who suffered injuries, had to take shelter inside Panja’s home. EC has sought a report from the police commissioner.
