The ministry of external affairs slammed Pakistan army chief Asim Munir‘s “nuclear” remarks made in the US, calling Pakistan “an irresponsible state with nuclear weapons” and saying “nuclear sabre-rattling is Pakistan’s stock in trade.” In Karnataka, Congress leader and cooperation minister KN Rajanna resigned after the party high command asked him to step down over comments faulting the party for ignoring alleged lapses in electoral rolls. The Supreme Court, taking suo motu note of Delhi dog bite cases, ordered authorities to pick up strays, keep them in shelters and warned against obstruction.
