Arjun Tendulkar, the 25-year-old son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, has become engaged to Saaniya Chandok. The ceremony, according to media reports, was held in private with only close friends and family members present. Saaniya is the granddaughter of prominent Mumbai industrialist Ravi Ghai. Her family owns well-known ventures in the food and hospitality sector, including the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery ice cream brand. Known for keeping a low profile, Saaniya comes from one of Mumbai’s most recognisable business families. Neither the Tendulkar nor the Ghai families have issued an official statement about the engagement. The event remained an intimate celebration, reflecting the private nature of both families.Arjun is a left-arm fast bowling all-rounder who currently plays for Goa in domestic cricket. He has also represented the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. His cricket journey began in Mumbai’s junior circuits before he earned a place in the India U19 team. He made his T20 debut in the 2020-21 season for Mumbai against Haryana and later moved to Goa in 2022-23, where he debuted in both List A and first-class cricket.
