'Mental illness': Woman smears dog poop on Trump-themed Tesla Cybertruck in Chicago — Watch

A woman was caught on camera allegedly smearing dog feces across a Trump-themed Cybertruck in Chicago, reports New York Post. The footage went viral on social media, sparking outrage online. Tesla owner John Evans said he parked his Tesla on Wednesday while attending a conference in the Northalsted neighbourhood. When he returned, he saw his American flag-wrapped truck, featuring Donald Trump’s gold-leaf signature on the tailgate, had been smeared with dog excrement. “It’s crazy that something like this upsets somebody so much that they decided, ‘Oh, I’m going to ruin that person’s day,’” Evans was quoted as saying to FOX 32. “Well, the shoe is on the other foot now.” Footage from the Cybertruck’s cameras shows a woman spreading the dog poop across the bodywork, Evans said. “On the tailgate in Gold Leaf, there is a representation of the signature of President Trump,” he added. “And I think that may have further inflamed the mental illness of the person that decided to do this to my vehicle.” Evans posted stills from the video to X, where users allegedly identified the woman as Dorothy Owen, co-owner of Renegade Dog Services, a local dog daycare. Authorities have not confirmed the woman’s identity, and Owen has not been charged. Negative reviews for the business have since appeared online. “I think that America is happy to help other Americans with accountability for bad actors,” Evans was quoted as saying to the Daily Mail. He said he would not file a police report, calling the online backlash “punishment enough” and noting that law enforcement has more serious crimes to handle. “When you do something like this, you’re making the problem worse,” he said.
