The MVP-winning star recently admitted that he was “emotional” after watching Steinfeld’s latest film Sinners, in which she stars opposite Michael B. Jordan. The emotional reaction showed a softer side of Allen, who couldn’t help but gush over his wife’s talent and dedication.

During an interview on Hard Knocks, Allen shared how deeply Steinfeld’s role in Sinners affected him. “Because it combines a lot of different aspects of life,” he said. “My wife absolutely kills it, and hopefully, award season coming around, people make the right decision.” The quarterback even admitted that he got teary-eyed watching her on screen. “I was just so proud of her,” Allen said. “I get emotional thinking about it, but it was a pretty cool experience.”The couple, who tied the knot in May 2025, have managed to balance their demanding careers with remarkable grace. While Allen’s NFL schedule dominates much of the year, Steinfeld’s Hollywood commitments keep her equally busy. Yet, both make an effort to show up for each other, whether it’s Allen attending premieres or Steinfeld cheering him on from the stands.

Steinfeld, who has attended most Bills games since 2023, revealed in an interview with Variety that she structures her work around Allen’s football season. “What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” she explained. “So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is.”The couple also keeps a few personal traditions alive to stay grounded.
