New blow! Virat Kohli suffers never seen before embarrassment in his career

Australian fast bowler Xavier Bartlett delivered a crushing blow at the Adelaide Oval, dismissing Indian cricket star Virat Kohli for a duck through a perfectly executed lbw in the second ODI between the two sides. The dismissal came after just four balls, leaving a large India-supporting crowd in stunned silence.Bartlett’s delivery in the seventh over swung in from a length, catching Kohli stuck in his crease. The Indian batter attempted a flick shot but missed the ball completely, getting beaten on the inside edge.

Umpire Sam Nogajski had no doubts about the decision, immediately raising his finger. Ball tracking technology later confirmed the ball would have hit the middle of middle stump, validating the umpire’s call.In a show of sportsmanship, Kohli acknowledged the crowd’s support by raising his gloves as he made his way back to the pavilion.Kohli had walked back for a duck in the first ODI, at Perth, as well. It marks the first instance in Kohli’s 303 match career that he’s been dismissed for ducks in back-to-back innings.The 36-year-old has seen 17 ducks in his ODI career but it is only the first time that there have been consecutive noughts.
