According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed in the following states and union territories:

While banking counters will remain closed, digital services will continue to operate normally. Customers can access online banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATMs to perform transactions such as fund transfers, bill payments, and balance inquiries. However, branch-based activities — including large cash deposits, cheque clearances, and the issuance of demand drafts — will not be available during the holiday. Account holders are advised to complete any essential in-person banking tasks beforehand and rely on digital channels for uninterrupted access to core services.
